Juneau Walks

About 15 minutes away from downtown is Basin Road and just a very nice place to walk, either out to Last Chance Basin, or the Flume Trail back to downtown - be careful on the steep stairs. Another loop is to take the Mt. Roberts Tramway to the top and then the trail back to downtown that ends at the head of Sixth Street. Make sure you have good footwear and are in good condtion - the trail can be steep and slippery.
